Whether you're seven or seventy, there is simply no
better way to get outdoors and enjoy nature in the winter
than by cross country skiing. Guided tours with River
and Trail Outfitters can be as leisurely as a hike on
nordic skis through the winter woods or can be a real
workout that enhances aerobic and cardiovascular conditioning.
Spend a day with us in the scenic Allegheny Mountains
of Western Maryland which have a history of consistent
snow cover (not far from the Wisp Downhill Ski Resort)
or spend the entire weekend in Tug Hill, NY at the foot
of the Adirondacks where optimal snow conditions and
a true winter wonderland are not to be missed

ski rentals. We do recommend a lesson for first-timers on
our day, overnight or weekend tours listed below.
