Official Start of SUMMER—Let's Tube
Gather your friends and go Tubing on the
Shenandoah River. Bring a group of 8 people
along with you and receive a FREE waterproof
camera to take great pictures of you and your
friends splashing and having fun tubing.

order to receive camera. Camera will be given to
group leader upon check-in on day of trip. No

bike ride from Brunswick to Harpers Ferry on the
C&O Canal which runs along side the Potomac and
Shenandoah Rivers. Once in Harpers Ferry take
the grandparents on a stroll down memory lane as
they tour the historical sites and shops. Then
treat them to a tasty lunch at one of the many
restaurants located in Harpers Ferry. The ride
from Brunswick to Harpers Ferry is 6 miles round
trip back to Brunswick makes is a 12 mile
peddle. Arrangements can be made to pick up the
bikes at Harpers Ferry for those who only want
to ride 6 miles. Price per person $20 includes
all taxes and fees.

Celebrate the First Weekend of Autumn
Join us for a Civil War Bike Tour along the C&O
Canal near Harpers Ferry, WV. Your interpretive
guide will supply you with historical facts
about the Civil War and its effects on the local
area. The scenery along this gentle terrain,
tree-lined path is fantastic, and there is ample
room for cruising while good riverside picnic
spots abound. Bring bottled water and a snack
for the ride. Then at the end of the trip we
will enjoy sandwiches, chips, cold drinks and a
tasty dessert at Beans in the Belfry located
just 2 blocks from the end of the bike tour.

to Frederick's IN THE STREETS and join us in
celebrating the 25th anniversary of the biggest
and best block party. Come and Climb our rock
wall and enjoy other entertainment such as a
concert on the Carroll Creek Linear Park will
kick festivities off on Friday night with music,
food and the chance to give back to the
Frederick community by supporting a local
charity. There are numerous blocks of themed
entertainment and activities including Kid’s
Block, Sports Block, International Block and
much more!

Visit historic Brunswick and learn about the
trains, this event is great for the whole

our Climbing Wall as you enjoy the festivities
that Brunswick has to offer.

Spook-tacular Hike
Ever heard about the movie "The Blair Witch
Project"? The movie was filmed here in the
mountain area of Gapland near Burkittsville, MD
just 7 miles from us. Come with us on this
evening hike as we take you on a tour of the
town of Burkittsville and through the wooded
sections of the mountain where the Blair Witch
is said to lurk. Noises and sightings will make
your skin crawl. Is it the witch or could it be
the ghosts of the Confederate soldiers from the
Civil War whose souls are not at rest. Listen to
your guide tell tales of the ghosts and things
they have been seen doing. Your hike will end at
the Maple Tree Campground with a campfire. Our
staff will serve you Sandwiches, Chips, hot
chocolate and of course all the fixings for make
your own s'mores. Everyone is encouraged to
bring along ghost stories to share with all
around the campfire. Price per person: $44.00

seeing deer, herons and other birds and wildlife

this beauty on land from the C&O as you bike

offering Canoe and tandem kayak rentals at $58
all taxes and fees included and Solo Kayak
