Student Clinic/Rates

Faculty-Supervised Student Clinic provides a rich, hands-on, practical experience for the clinical portion of my training. You will be tended by myself, a licensed practitioner, and a student partner-- all dedicated to supporting you. Researchers from Johns Hopkins University recently published an article in the April 2006 issue of “Alternative Therapies” that describes the excellent results reported by patients treated by student interns in the Tai Sophia Acupuncture program.

After the initial consult, ideally, patients come weekly for 5-6 visits. After this, the effectiveness of treatment is evaluated. Often, patients continue treatment on a less frequent basis, spacing them out bi-weekly, monthly, or seasonally as needed.

Rates are as follows:
$75 for the initial intake
$60 per treatment
payment is accepted by cash or check
