River & Trail Outfitters introduces the
Savage River, a perfect step up from our Harpers Ferry
beginner whitewater rafting trip on the Shenandoah. This run
is continuous Class III-IV whitewater non-stop fun! The
Savage River is located in the mountains of Western Maryland
near Bloomington.
Dates available: Sunday
August 31st (Labor Day weekend)
Trip Times: 9am & 1 pm
Price: $85 + tax
Price Includes: The 9am
AND 1pm runs with a tasty riverside cookout between the two
runs. A guide in each raft. Shuttle transportation to and
from the river and all equipment.
*Wetsuit rentals are available,
although may not be needed for the release.*
Directions: From the
Baltimore/Washington Metro area Take 70 W to Hancock. Exit
onto 68 W towards Cumberland. Near Frostburg, exit onto 36 S
at exit # 34. Continue on 36 to Westernport. In Westernport
turn R onto Church Rd. (135 W). Follow 135 W through Luke
and Bloomington. In Bloomington, turn L onto Hamill then L
onto Owens And then R onto Potomac St. and look for River &
Trail river tube indicating entrance to customer parking.
