Self-Guided Brunswick to Harpers Ferry Bike Tour
 Bike along one of the most scenic sections of the
C&O Canal from Brunswick, MD, to Harpers Ferry, WV. Begin your ride in
Brunswick, peddling the 5.8 miles along the Potomac River to Harpers Ferry,
where you can lock up your bike and walk the pedestrian bridge across the
Potomac River into the town. Spend time exploring the museums and stores and
the quaint atmosphere of this town with a European feel. Chose from wonderful
picnic spots or dine at one of the local restaurants or ice cream shops.
Afterwards, you may choose to add a few extra miles to your trip by continuing
to bike up river or hike the Maryland Heights Trail for a spectacular view of
the Shenandoah and Potomac confluence.
