Fly through the sky on our 840 foot zip line “òdjì” (meaning “to fly” in Algonquin). Our zip line is located in the remote and beautiful woods in Knoxville, Maryland near the Harpers Ferry area. Go a second time free! The zip line is open on Saturdays and Sundays now through September 4th and may be booked for half hour slots between 9am-3pm. Weekdays and days before May 20th and after September 4th may be available for groups of 20 or more participating in another River & Trail Adventure.

Price is $22/person. Groups of 20 or more go for $20/person. Zip line participants must weigh between 50-275 lbs and wear closed toe shoes.

For double the fun, go Whitewater Tubing or Antietam Creek Tubing which conveniently meet at the zip line site on weekends. Be sure and book your zip line adventure for at least one hour before your tubing trip.

Directions

  • Directions to the Zip Line

    Check-in address: Across the road from 1620 Harpers Ferry Road Knoxville, MD 21758.  At the black mailbox (1620), turn right (you’ll see a white cross in the field). Proceed straight back for 1/8 mile — bear left park in the field along the back tree line. GPS  39.358111, -77.732998

    From the Washington D.C area: Take I-270N to Frederick. Merge with I-70W toward Hagerstown. Move to far right lane immediately. Take Exit #52 onto 340W toward Charles Town. Follow 340 for 16 miles. At the flashing yellow lights, turn left onto Keep Tryst Rd. At stop sign, bear left to the top of the little hill. Make first right onto Sandy Hook Rd. After approximately 4.5 miles on Sandy Hook (which becomes Harpers Ferry road), pass a red & white sign for “Manidokan.” In a few hundred yards, at the black mailbox (1620), turn right (you’ll see a white cross in the field). Proceed straight back for 1/8 mile — bear left park in the field along the back tree line.
