Try our Whitewater Ducky & Sit-on-top Kayak!
If you've ever taken our rafting trip before and are looking
for a bigger challenge, try Class III whitewater on a ducky or sit-on-top
kayak! These maneuverable craft allow for a more intense, personal experience
with the river and afford the freedom of an open-top boat; if you fall off, you
flip it over and hop back on. Participants must be reasonably physically fit
and weigh between 100-250 lbs. And most importantly not be afraid to get wet!
An experienced guide will provide basic instruction and shepherd you or your
group down the river. Duckies will be given to the first 15 participants unless
a special request is made for a sit-on-top. Duckies are lighter and more
forgiving for beginners!
Join River and Trail Outfitters in Knoxville, Maryland near
Harpers Ferry, West Virginia ( only one hour from Washington DC ) for this
guided white water kayaking tour on the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers.

*wetsuits are available for spring or fall trips
