 This whitewater tubing trip on the Potomac River is
perfect for groups looking to get wet! Available for groups of 15 or more, the
Class II-III waves and ripples will splash and thrill. This West Virginia
tubing tour takes place in the Potomac River Gap by Harpers Ferry, one of the
most scenic stretches of river in the country. Tubers floating by historic
Harpers Ferry National Park have a spectacular view of Maryland Heights and the
confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers. The Needles, Mad Dog, and
White Horse rapids are challenges you won't forget. Quality tube rentals, life
vests, and guides in kayaks are provided to help make your day enjoyable.
Halfway down, the trip will stop along the river to enjoy drink refreshments
and take in the view of the three states (West Virginia, Virginia, and
Maryland). We take care of the logistics, you take care of the fun! Families
with kids 14 and older and adult groups will enjoy this 2.5-3 hour whitewater
tubing tour so close to DC!
For a great addition to this tubing
adventure, have your group do a guided hike on Maryland Heights the morning of
your trip. The cliffs offer spectacular views of the confluence of the
Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers, an aerial view of Harpers Ferry National Park.

that prefer biking, ages 12 and up can rent our cruiser bikes for the C&O
Canal along the Potomac. After hiking or biking, cooling off with whitewater
