Summer Tubing Rental
The Shenandoah tubing trip has developed as
an inexpensive "kickback and enjoy" tubing trip on your own. You park your car
where the trip ends, and we'll shuttle you a 1 ½ miles upriver where you
will splash and play thru some small rapids before beginning your leisurely
float down the river. Dropping over shallow ledges along the foot of the Blue
Ridge Mountains, you are sure to enjoy this mellow and beautiful stretch of
river. Youth and other groups may request a guide for the trip.
 The tube
trip is 1-2 hours long depending on water levels. If you're short on time, it's
the perfect length...if you're looking for a little more adventure to make that
drive from DC, Northern Virginia, or Maryland worthwhile, we've got more!
You can picnic at our
Blue Heron Outdoor
Grill with casual river view seating only. The grill specializes in grass
fed beef hamburgers, other tasty sandwiches, cool drinks and ice cream. Groups
of 8 or more can save time by checking out our
Standard Menu
 and placing an order with
your tubing reservation.
After your picnic, you have the option of
going back on the water with our
tube & paddle
combo. River & Trail offers multiple models of recreational kayaks and
canoes for you to try out on this mellow section of the Shenandoah.
