North America by Canoe & Kayak Magazine editors, Antietam Creek is the
perfect venue for recreational kayaking. A scenic stream graced with stone arch
bridges, Antietam offers wildlife-sightings of blue heron, ducks, turtles, and
beaver. Beyond its natural beauty, you will float under Burnside Bridge on
Antietam Battlefield, one of the most famous sites in Civil War History. Our
qualified instructor will give historical interpretation at this site and
entertain you with the turbulent tales of this war so crucial to our nation's
history. Paddling the riffles and ledges of this beginner whitewater stretch
will keep you guessing what lies around the next bend.
 To prepare you for your trip, brunch will
be served at the Park Pavilon in historic Sharpsburg, Maryland. Play ground
equipment is available for kids to run and play.

Company is commited to using the highest quality ingredients supplied by
local growers, allowing her the opportunity to create a market inspired menu
that's spontaneous, local and seasonal.
The price of $95 /person is all-inclusive. Kayak rentals,
guide, all equipment, brunch & tip, parking, and tax are included.

natural beauty, you will float under Burnside Bridge on Antietam Battlefield,

the riffles and ledges of this beginner whitewater stretch.
After your trip, dinner will be served at the casual
Stone Soup, a bistro-style
restaurant featuring the area's best in local, fresh ingredients.
Shepherdstown, WV is a diner's delight and offers a mini-Georgetown atmosphere
that's perfect for an after dinner stroll. Bed & Breakfast lodging as well
as rooms at the romantic Bavarian
Inn are available in WestVirginia's oldest town
