 Join us on this 4-5
hour tubing tour which simply has it all. Putting in a quarter mile below the
well-photographed Burnside Bridge, you will begin the tour floating through
sections of Antietam National Battlefield-a cornerstone of our nation's
history. As you float on the riffles and ledges of this scenic, beginner
whitewater stream, your cares will melt away. Antietam is perfect for families,
couples, and groups looking to escape the crowded waterways of Harpers Ferry
and to tube under unique circumstances-- under stone-arch bridges and a canopy
of trees. Kids and adults alike will love seeing mallards, blue herons, and
water turtles in their natural home. Because the stream is spring-fed, the
water will refresh you even when the air temperature breaks through the 90s.
For those tubing in cooler weather, we provide tubes with plastic bottoms, to
keep you comfortable!

Many people comment that our excellent staff on
this Maryland tubing adventure is what makes it so much fun! Our guides are
trained in the local and natural history of the area as well as water blaster
technique and joke-telling skills! They also take care of all the logistics,
are there for safety, and maintain a trash-free environment in a National Park
setting. Last but certainly not least, they serve you a tasty waterside picnic,
allowing for a break and some fun in the sun! |
