Children as young as 7 can ride in a canoe or kayak with an adult.  In addition, children must be at least 12 years of age to paddle their own single kayak.

 

Whitewater Rafting in Harpers Ferry (ages 7+)

Calling on all young adventure enthusiasts! Our whitewater rafting trip in Harpers Ferry is perfect for kids ages 7 and up who enjoy an adventure. Led by our experienced guides, families will navigate the thrilling rapids of the Shenandoah and Potomac River and enjoy breathtaking views.   Given that safety is our top priority parents can rest assured that their little ones are in good hands as they tackle the rapids together.  All of our guides have current First Aid and CPR certifications.  All of our guides exceed the requirements set forth by the WV Department of Natural Resources for Whitewater Rafting.  The rapids on this trip are classified as classes I-III of whitewater, making this a perfect beginner rafting trip depending on water levels. 

Tent Camping for the Whole Family
