Kayak or Canoe Antietam Creek through Historic Antietam National Battlefield.

Antietam Creek has been rated one of the top 60 paddling streams in North America. Kayaking and canoeing the scenic and historical Antietam creek is for those who have previous experience and have successfully navigated Class II+ rapids in a canoe or kayak before. Highlights of this section include paddling under the well-photographed Burnside Bridge, and floating through sections of Antietam National Battlefield-a cornerstone of our nation’s history. This unique paddle under a canopy of trees, keeps paddlers returning again and again.
